Essentially, there are two engines driving us on the road to manifesting reality. There is the internal reality, what we experience as thought and emotion, and the external reality which is driven by our actions and reactions, and the external world’s actions reactions. How these two spheres engage is the key to how we experience, or manifest, our reality.
Action versus reaction is where awareness exists. When we take the time to act, rather than react, we engage self-awareness, create conscious meaning, and can act with mindful intention. This is where the scribe in you can engage the story of your life, make edits, write new versus, chapters, or phrases or pages.
When we slow down and engage our inner realities we begin to observe them. At first this can be like falling into the rapids of a dark deep river, feeling as though one is powerless, being thrashed about by the currents of thoughts and feelings underlying. However, with time, we can gain some control of these waters, navigate them, and ultimately steer ourselves in the direction we want to go. Our story now has a captain, as well as a scribe.
The captain may be our feelings and emotions. These are powerful waters in which we sail upon. The destinations along our journey. However, the captain can use the winds of time to help you journey through space towards the destination you seek.
The scribe is the mind, taking in the experience of the journey, finding meaning, and ultimately telling story of our lives. The scribe is like the constellations of stars in the sky. The captain will use these to chart a course. When the stars and winds align the waters are calm, flowing effortlessly without resistance.
